A.Salon Cypress provides a competitive base commission rate of 45% for all hair services, ensuring that our stylists are fairly compensated for their expertise. In addition, Product & Extension Hair retail sales earn a 10% commission, giving our team the opportunity to increase their earnings.. It's important to note that tips are paid separate from commission, further acknowledging and rewarding the exceptional service provided by our dedicated staff.

A.Our stylists starting prices are set according to experience and skill level. From there they are advanced in their careers through the achievement of performance goals. These monthly objectives are conveniently monitored on a daily basis using our efficient Phorest booking system app. Additionally, our stylists engage in quarterly one-on-one sessions with our leadership team. These meetings serve as a platform to acknowledge successes and explore fresh avenues for growth.
Q. What schedules do stylists at Salon Cypress work?
A.the schedules at our salon are tailored to meet our clients needs, with a strong emphasis on fostering a healthy work-life balance for our employees. Our dedicated stylists are provided the flexibility to work either 3 or 4 days a week, allowing them ample opportunities to rejuvenate, and dedicate attention to their mental and physical wellness.
Q. Does Salon Cypress require an apprenticeship or training program prior to taking clients?
A.no, we advocate that the most effective training involves diving straight into practical experience right after obtaining a cosmetology license. newer stylists will however engage in hands-on training complemented by online modules in their free moments.
Q. Are clients double booked at salon cypress?
A. At our salon, we prioritize delivering an outstanding client experience that is seamless and unrushed, ensuring our stylists can perform at their best. To maintain this standard, we generally refrain from double booking appointments. However, in certain scenarios where clients are acquainted, such as a mother and daughter duo who are comfortable with waiting for each other, we may consider double booking. Additionally, senior stylists who exhibit consistent and efficient work patterns may have the opportunity to double book appointments with the support of an assistant to ensure quality service is maintained.
Q. What products and brands are used at salon cypress & can I use my own brand and tools?
A. Salon cypress provides a combinaton of professional haircare and color brands including Paul Mitchell, Redken, and K18. Salon Cypress provides all products and tools needed for our stylists to be successfull behind the chair. While we do not permit stylists to purchase and use their own chemicals and products, we do allow our stylists the freedom to use their preferred hot tools and brushes if desired so long as tools are professional.
Q. Are there any services that are not offered at salon cypress?

Q. Are stylists required to stay in the salon if they do not have clients?
A. salon cypress offers a degree of flexibility during slow days. Stylists are permitted to make schedule adjustments such as leaving early with leadership approval.
